ALLIANCE | Veterans' Benefits

ALLIANCE specializes in helping Veterans and their families gain access to the benefits which they have earned. 

Pension is a benefit paid to wartime veterans who are at least age 65 , or who are permanently and totally disabled at any age.  Aid and Attendance  is a benefit paid in addition to monthly pension.  The Aid & Attendance benefit provides a tax-free monthly benefit of up to $1,949 paid directly to the Veteran or a Surviving Spouse.  If the Veteran is healthy, but their spouse requires care, then the Veteran could qualify for Income Improvement Pension.

Generally, you may be eligible if:

  • Served 90 days or more active duty

  • Received anything but a dishonorable discharge or retired

  • Atl least one day during a time of war

  • WW II, Vietnam, Korea, or Persian Gulf

If you have been told that you are not eligible due to income or asset limitations, there may be strategies to assist you in quaifying for this benefit.
